Paul Sevigny

With over twelve years of experience in the hospitality industry, Paul Sevigny has been setting the standard to the cocktail scene in Miami.  Getting his start in Providence, Rhode Island, Paul worked as the Beverage Manager at Moda Restaurant and Lounge where he developed his first cocktail menu.  In late 2006, Paul moved to Miami where he began working with celebrity chef Govind Armstrong at his Table 8 South Beach hot spot as Beverage Manager/Mixologist. It was not long before Paul’s tasty libations were being noticed on a local and national level. He went on to develop beverage programs for Table 8, and 8 oz Burger Bar restaurants. Paul’s approach is simple: fresh high quality ingredients, a well-trained palate, and an appreciation for the classic cocktail. With his passion for the Beverage industry, creativity, and love of a good cocktail, Paul founded Splash Cocktail with co Table 8 South Beach Mixologist Robert Ortenzio. Paul has developed cutting edge beverage programs for many hospitality venues such as the D. Rodriguez Restaurant Group, Setai South Beach, Meat Market, Cut 432, Bonefish Grill as well as beverage consulting for many major liquor brands. Paul has won and placed in many cocktail competitions including 42 Below Vodka Cocktail World Cup representing Miami in the United States Finals,Cheery Heering Accessorize world cocktail competition as a United States finalist, and Svedka Vodka/ Miami.com cocktail competition. Paul was also voted as one of Bombay Saphire/GQ most inspired bartender 2010.  You can currently find Paul mixing his creative libations at the Florida Room at the Delano Hotel in South Beach. Paul is also the National Brand Ambassador for DISARONNO and Tia Maria



Robert Ortenzio

Robert Ortenzio has spent over seventeen years in the food and beverage industry. Since leaving Youngstown, Ohio for sunny South Beach, Robert decided to trade in his chef's coat for a Boston shaker and bring his culinary approach to the bar. In the fall of 2006 Robert went to work at Table 8 South Beach where he would meet his now friend and business partner Paul Sevigny and Splash was born. While at Table 8 Robert was a finalist in the Domaine De Canton bartender of the year competition held on the island of French San Marteen and won the Miami heat of the Rain Organics signature drink competition. After two years with Table 8 Robert moved on to Red, the Steakhouse where he designed an all original cocktail menu featuring fresh fruits, herbs, and mixers. While at Red, Robert also co-created the cocktail menu for Meat Market with Splash partner Paul Sevigny. In the winter of 2009 Robert jumped at the opportunity to work for Michelle Bernstein at Senora Martinez in Miami's Design District. The prohibition era, market driven bar program at Senora Martinez is the perfect stage for Robert and his brand of bar tending. Since joining Sra. Martinez Robert was a co-winner in the 42 Below Vodka Cocktail World Cup representing Miami in the United States Finals. Robert has also been given creative control of the beverage program at Meat Market Miami. Robert can be found these days at either Senora Martinez or Meat Market depending on the day of the week.
